Wow....it has been a very long time since I posted anything on here.  This past year has been very busy with my sons last year of High School, Prom, graduation, volunteering as a treasurer and just everyday life.  We spent 7 days on Lake Powell in Utah on a houseboat.  I think that is the most relaxing time I have had in a very LONG time.  Besides being super Hot and Humid I enjoyed it very much.  Floating in the water, swimming, eating, we had several themed Happy Hours where all 11 of us dressed to the theme and had a special cocktail.  Fun time.

We celebrated my sons 18th birthday and our 23rd Anniversary.  Fun times.  Now its time to gear up for sending our son off to his first year of College.  Not sure I am ready for this but it will be a great experience for him.  He is excited so I am excited.

As Time Goes On

This is a bitter sweet year for us.  My husband and I have been very involved in my sons school band for the past four years.  This is our last year and our sons last year of High School.  As I attend each event this year it is coming closer to the end.  While it brings tears to my eyes when I think of it; it is also a time of happiness.  These students are so amazing and talented.  Looks like we will be going to championships in a few weeks.  We took first place in our category at the last two field shows.  So proud of my son and all these kids who work so hard. We will be performing at Disneyland in the parade in a few weeks.  That is always a fun time!

Two Great Bands

This evening I will be going to see Modern English & The Romantics. Back in the 70's (dating myself here) these were two of my favorite bands.  Can' wait to see them.  Should be a great show.
