These flowers are so dainty and pretty. I was out this weekend looking at my plants and flowers to see how they were holding up in the heat.  When I glanced over and saw this lil guy climbing the wall.
I ran in to grab my camera and when I came back out he was gone.  He must of fallen but was persistant and I spotted him startring up the wall again.  I can't say I have ever seen any of these in my garden before.  Don't know much about worms but he was a green type.  Have I not seen these before because I was in a hurry and never really looked or was there really none?  Is this the culprit that is eating the leaves off some of my flowers? Hmmm........will he make it to the top?  Will he continue his journey to the other side of the wall or fall again and give up? I wonder........
Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Blooming Happiness

My plumeria has bloomed! So beautiful, the fragrance is wonderful. Flowers blooming puts a smile on my face.  This plumeria started from one stick that my husband brought me home from Hawaii about 14 years ago.  It took a few years to really get growing but when it did it did not stop!  We had a huge plumeria that we kept cutting from give pieces to family, friends, neighbors, planting them around the yard.  When we redid our yard my husband dug up the plumeria and gave them away all but two that I had in pots.  Don't know why he did that.  But one of them has bloomed and I am happy.  Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Back to School

Gotta have a Fox backpack and Van shoes. Purple & black.
Back to school time already.  This summer has flown by faster than any other I can remember.  It may be due to the fact school let out later this year and went back earlier.  This year clothes shopping was a breeze; my son was in a good mood the day we went and it was quick and painless.  Any of you that have had or have a teenager know that they can be moody, grumpy and sometimes hard to get along with.  Mine turned 14 last month and is usually in a good mood but there are those days!! Every school year I have taken my sons photo in the hallway.  This year he said "Why do you always have to take a picture of me on the first day of school"?  My reply "I just do".  Don't know why but I always get teary eyed as I approach the school and let my son out on the first day.  This year was no different; as soon as he got out of the car, my eyes filled with water. This is his first year of High School - where has the time gone?

Looks like Fingers on a Carrot

I was peeling carrots for dinner one evening and I reached into the bag and pulled out the scariest looking carrot I have ever seen!  Yikes.....what happened here?  At first I chopped that part off, then I decided I should take a photo and post it for you all to see.  Is this the strangest carrot you have seen?

Do you see it?

A few days ago I was out looking at my flowers, plants and giving them a little drink.  This little guy popped his head up from under the plant and gave me a scare.  I have never seen such a tiny baby lizard - and I don't like the creepy crawly things.  I know.....there good for the garden; they eat the bad bugs....but I still get creeped out by them.  I went out to our front yard to water the plants and several of those babies popped out.  YIKES.......where did they all come from....there in the grass, the garden, my pots.  Not too happy about this invasion........where did they come from???  The only thing I can thnk of is our neighbors were cleaning up their yard which had piles of stuff on the side of the house and these little guys decided to take a stroll.  I saw them around for a couple days but have not seen any since.  Strange.....hopefully they decided to stroll off  to a new place.  I really don't care to see them when they grow up.
